"Each sculpture begins by listening"

I work with wood as a way of listening.

My sculptures are not designed in advance. They emerge trough a slow dialogue with the material, where form is discovered rather than imposed.

My relationship with wood began long before I became an artist. Nature has always been the place where I found stillness, perspective and a sense of belonging. Over time, creating became another way of returning to that place.

Trough sculpture, I explore what is difficult to express in words. Many of my works grow from themes such as resilience, vulnerability and the quiet strength that can exist beneath the surface. 

I do not try to control the wood. I work together with it, allowing its grain, movement and imperfections to shape the final form.

Every sculpture is an invitation to pause reflect and discover your own meaning within it.
